1. What is your dream job?
I wish I could be an actress - unfortunately, I don't have the skills, personality, style or looks for this, however. But, in a dream, this would be it! Maybe in my next life.

2. If you had just won the lottery and didn't need to work for money, what would you do with your time?
I would probably spend a lot of my time traveling. There is so much of this world that I would love to see, I just haven't had the opportunity yet! We would be heading out to the Bahamas, Paris, Greece, Australia, Africa, so many places on my list.

Also, I have also said and wanted to open up a shelter if I won a lot of money. Our shelter would be more of a home away from shelter life, and would be set up like separate spacious rooms where the animals could receive tons of love and human companionship. We would end up taking in animals that other shelters can't find homes form.. unfortunately, this would mean mostly senior animals, but I would LOVE to be able to take in and fund senior cats and dogs and provide them with some home comfort in their last few years.

3. What piece of career advice would you give to someone just starting out in your field?
At my current 9-5 job, I would advise anyone to speak their mind and opinions as it will get you farther in our department, and keeping organized. My job is a lot of paperwork, tight deadlines and time management. You need to be good at all 3 in order to be successful.

For my business, I would say just to continue doing what you love. As long as you love what you do, things will follow for you. Never give up and never stop being creative.

4. What would be your ideal "just for fun" job?
My business - although the just for fun part would be creating only. In this case, I would hire out all other tasks such as packaging, shipping, promoting, marketing, etc. and I would then be able to focus on what I truly love to do - which is create.

5. What was your first "real" job?
I worked the midnight shift at a car manufacturing plant. It was horrendous 12 hour shifts and grueling work, but I haven't ever been in better shape then I was there! I am much better suited to be behind a desk, however, that job definitely taught me that.

  1. I have always said if I won the lottery I would open a no kill shelter. I would also visit my local bank, ask if they had any foreclosures, and pay them off. I would love to be able to gift a home to someone who just can't catch a break.

  3. "I don't have the skills, personality, style or looks for this, however." Although I JUST stumbled upon your blog, I find this highly doubtful! You are absolutely gorgeous! xx
