Work has been crazy this week.. There are only 6 of us in our department and 2 are on vacation right now so I'm kept pretty busy the 8 hours that I'm there, that's for sure!
Since we were only able to give 50 days notice, and law is 60 days, we have been attempting to have our apartment rented by August 1st, so we won't have to pay an extra months rent when we aren't here anyway... that we have had 3 showings on 3 different nights this week. Which is really annoying to get home from work at 5pm and leave by 6:30-7:00pm for our landlord to show it. We haven't heard anything from the showings, and have none this weekend, so I am hoping that somebody has taken it.
We have also been attempting to pack as much as we can right now. It is amazing how much stuff we have in a 2 bedroom apartment, and August 30th is going to come fast enough!
Last night, we received free tickets from our realtor to our city's Rockfest concert. We got to see TOTO, David Wilcox and Matt Anderson, which was a very good time, especially for free!
Today, I have spent most of the day attempting to finish all my course assignments and orders that are outstanding.
